In 1996, AOK embarked on its Gymball evolution and examination plan. Ever since then world leadership testing protocols have been produced for inflatable PVC products. As a consequence of this work the MaxBall and DuraBall were presented.
Dura Ball Pro
The Dura Ball Pro features a 500kg burst resistance and will eventually deflate when pierced allowing the user time to get off, immensely bringing down the risk of accidental injury.
Gymballs withstand deformation under heavy cargo which means that sensory pathways are stimulated throughout the whole range of movement. It is yet resistant to wearing and stretching.
Max Ball
The Max Ball possesses a 750kg burst resistance feature and {will} slowly deflate when pierced enabling the user time to get off, greatly cutting the risk of injury.
Independently tested at the University of Newcastle, Australia this ball is originally designed for heavy free-weight training in a commercial environment. Its dimpled non-surface keeps the product from slipping when employing heavy weights.
These devices have been screened to determine appliance consistency and have variously withstood stable loads well in excess of 4000kg with burst resistance to a cargo of 500kg.
This does not mean that the gymball is puncture resistant but it does provide protection from sudden deflation. Burst immunity means AOK Gym balls are designed to acquire a minimum of 30 seconds to {deflate} if accidently punctured.
